The Powerball lottery jackpot was an estimated $216 million with a cash option of $98.4 million for Wednesday night's drawing.

More than 415,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $2 million, the lottery said.

The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $70 million for the drawing on Tuesday, July 8 after no one matched all the winning numbers in the drawing on Friday, July 4. If someone matches all six numbers on Tuesday, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $31.3 million.
