Luis Sharpe, a three-time Pro Bowl selection at left tackle for the Cardinals during the franchise’s time in both St. Louis and Arizona, has died. He was 65.

First reported by Kevin McCabe, former Cardinals Luis Sharpe died peacefully of heart failure on Friday. He was 65 years old. Sharpe was a first-round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982 and he was their starting left tackle for 13 seasons from 1982-1994. He made three Pro Bowls and named to the All-Pro second team twice.

Longtime Cardinals left tackle Luis Sharpe, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, has died at age 65. Sharpe played all 13 of his NFL seasons with the franchise in St. Louis (1982-87) and Arizona (1988-94).
