The Municipal Police Training Committee in Massachusetts is investigating dozens of police officers for bypassing mandatory training requirements, WBZ-TV has learned.

Evidence of police officers using technology to fast forward through their mandatory in-service training and completing sessions within minutes rather than hours has prompted a suspension of online courses offered by state officials.

Dozens of Susquehanna Valley police officers were taken off the street on Monday. The hope is that by pulling them from patrol, they'll make their communities safer.
