Gabriel Bonfim edged out the UFC's oldest rostered fighter, Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson by split decision in the night's co-main event. Two judges scored the bout 29-28 for Bonfim, while one scored 29-28 in favor of Thompson.

After a week without an event, the UFC was back last night. This time, the promotion visited Nashville for the first event there in almost two years.

Clarksville, TN native Nate Landwehr got a big spotlight as he fought just about an hour from his home at UFC Nashville. But unfortunately for the featherweight star, it was his opponent who made a huge statement inside the Octagon.

Morgan Charriere went into enemy territory and made a huge statement. “The Last Pirate” sailed into UFC Nashville to face Tennessee’s own Nate Landwehr and after two rounds of back-and-forth action, Charriere turned up the heat early in Round 3 to score a hellacious knockout.

UFC Nashville’s “Prelims” were headlined by Chris Curtis vs. Max Griffin. The “Prelims” also had Chidi Njokuani vs. Jake Matthews (which may well be the best fight on the card). Rounding out the “Prelims” were Kennedy Nzechukwu vs. Valter Walker, Lauren Murphy vs. Eduarda Moura, Mike Davis vs. Mitch Ramirez and Fatima Kline vs. Melissa Martinez.
