Sabrina Ionescu continues to make WNBA history. In the New York Liberty's statement win over the Las Vegas Aces, Ionescu delivered another all-around performance that cemented her place in the history books.

Sabrina Ionescu blew by Jackie Young on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter Tuesday, and Young, in a last-ditch effort, got caught reaching in. Ionescu made the layup then celebrated the and-one by flexing her arms and yelling triumphantly toward the crowd.

The Liberty currently own a 12-6 record coming into this matchup and are the third-best team in the entire league. Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart, Natasha Cloud and Marine Johannes have all been instrumental in their success. 2024 Finals MVP Jonquel Jones was brilliant as well, but she’s been sidelined with a sprained ankle since mid-June.
