Late Show” host Stephen Colbert went after President Donald Trump on Thursday, the same day it was announced that his show had been canceled. And he focused on two issues the president does not like to talk about: his health,

“Before we start the show, I want to let you know something that I found out just last night. Next year will be our last season. The network will be ending the ‘Late Show’ in May,” Colbert said in the clip, as the audience booed. “And, yeah, I share your feelings. It’s not just the end of our show, but it’s the end of ‘The Late Show’ on CBS.”

Late night television in recent years hasn't been quite as much of a staple of network television like in the days of David Letterman and Jay Leno, but CBS' move against The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will still come as a shock to many.
