Indiana won 42-28 last season on its way to the College Football Playoff. A victory Saturday would give the Hoosiers a 9-0 start for the second consecutive season under coach Curt Cignetti. Indiana had never started 9-0 in program history before Cignetti arrived ahead of the 2024 season.

At 7-1, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits host the Indiana State Sycamores hoping to cruise to an easy win today and build momentum towards the postseason.

A couple Hoosiers defenders fell as DeJuan Williams caught a pass about 12 yards down field that resulted in a 55-yard score by the time he was finished running. Quarterback Malik Washington had scrambled to his left, drew several IU defenders that left an opening for Williams.
