England had some royal encouragement at the Women’s European Championship on Wednesday with Prince William in the crowd to watch the Lionesses in their crucial match against the Netherlands.

Prince William will compete in the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2025 this Friday at Guards Polo Club. The Prince of Wales returns to the field for his fourteenth appearance in the annual charity match.

"Women's football opportunities have changed because of what you’ve done," the Prince told the Lionesses on Monday.

Kate Middleton returned to Wimbledon on Saturday for her first appearance this season, continuing a tradition for the royal.

Prince William is supporting England in Switzerland as the Lionesses battle for their tournament life. The Prince of Wales, as Patron of The Football Association, has travelled to Zurich today for the second Uefa Women’s Euro 2025 group stage match for the England team.
