A resident of northern Arizona has died from pneumonic plague, health officials said Friday.

A resident of Coconino County, Ariz., died from pneumonic plague, the first such death in the county in almost two decades, officials announced on Friday.

"There is an antibiotic for this, but you have to get the antibiotic on board in time," Humble said.
