Former champions Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic will headline the Cincinnati Open which runs Aug. 5-18 tournament at the Lindner Family Tennis Center. The world’s No. 1 ranked players, Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner, will both come back to defend their titles. Both are in the Wimbledon semifinals this week.
It’s another frustrating outing at the Championships for the American, who is yet to progress beyond the fourth round at Wimbledon. SW19 shortcomings aside, Gauff has at least had a reason to celebrate in the last few weeks, given her brother has been shining on the sporting scene instead.
