EA has announced The Sims 4 Marketplace, a store for user-made mods, but its revenue share falls short of rivals like Roblox and Fortnite.

EA clarified that The Sims 4 Marketplace does not replace free content, and that Makers can continue to offer free or paid early access custom content or mods on other platforms under its mod policy.

The Sims 4 introduces a Roblox-like currency, meaning we need to pay even more on top of the $1,500 it already costs to purchase every expansion.
