Jannik Sinner overwhelmed a not-fully-fit Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon semifinals to set up a rematch with Carlos Alcaraz of their epic French Open final four weeks ago.

Jannik Sinner’s road to the Wimbledon final has been anything but smooth and not just because of the tough opponents he’s faced but also because of an injury scare. During the Round of 16 match against Grigor Dimitrov, Sinner took a nasty slip that left him clutching his right arm in pain.

Alcaraz and Sinner each won their semifinal matches, setting up a rematch of their French Open final at Wimbledon while equaling a feat only achieved by the Federer-Nadal pairing.
