While working in an attic, an exterminator accidentally knocked something small out of place—a big brown bat! The little animal curled up on the floor, and although he was barely moving he appeared to be breathing. He must have been sleeping in the attic to escape the cold before being woken up. This beautiful big brown bat came in on Saturday after being found in a basement in Hyde Park. The homeowner is doing construction in the basement and she may have gotten into something, as she has some minor tears in her left wing, as well as a small fracture and exposed bone in her 3rd left finger.
